How Do Injectable Neurotoxins Work?
During your initial consultation at Jarvis Family Medical Services and J Spa, we perform an aesthetic analysis, which will help us decide which areas of your face need to be treated. We'll also discuss the injectable neurotoxins we offer so we can decipher which will best help you reach your cosmetic goals. During your quick treatment, we'll cleanse your face to rid it of any makeup, dirt, or debris. Then we'll place the injectable formulas into the predetermined areas of your face. We use a fine-gauge needle for this, so you should experience very little discomfort. After your treatment, you might notice some redness, swelling, or even a bit of bruising at the injection sites; this is normal, however, and should disappear within a day or so. After a few days, you'll start to notice smoother, firmer skin. Your results should last between 3 – 6 months. Karla can work with you to create a plan for follow-up treatments so you can maintain your results.
